St. Cloud, MN
The Blizzard welcomed back a familiar face to the ice this past week. Forward, Alex Kupka was medically cleared to skate with no contact and hit the ice with the team Tuesday morning.
Kupka, a Trnava, Slovakia native suffered a neck injury back in the NAHL showcase in September. The 18 year surprised both doctors and neurosurgeons on how well he recovered and made strides to get back on the ice. There is still a long road left but with the attitude he has and the support received from the hockey community, it’s only a matter of time before Kupka is back in action.
