Eddie Eades was born to Cary and Dana on October 23rd of 1995.  The family, including sisters Alex and Erica, is from East Grand Forks, Minnesota.  Eddie joined the Blizzard early on in the season after a brief stint with the Sioux Falls Stampede.  He joins Kris Brun as the only two former Stampede players on the current Blizzard roster.

Eades, the 6’6” defenseman, played high school hockey at East Grand Forks Senior High and has been playing hockey since he was three years old.  Outside of hockey, Eddie enjoys golfing and playing NBA2k.  He also enjoys his favorite things, the movie Interstellar, thing about Brookings, Lori Ponto, and the number pi.  His favorite hockey memory is winning the Minnesota State Hockey Championship.

After hockey, Eddie’s plans are to eventually get a lake house with his friends.  The fun fact he chose to supply is that he is left-handed.  Eddie and his teammates are on the road to Aberdeen this weekend for two chances to beat the Wings for a playoff spot!  Join us on Thursday, March 19th to get your hands on an Eddie Eades Ground Round trading card!
